In brief
The French version of this page is the legally binding text. This English version is a translation for convenience.
Daizu is a service that helps you build a personalized nutrition program. By using the app, you accept these terms.
Read them carefully: they describe what the service does, what you can expect from it, and the limits of our liability.
1. Acceptance of the terms
By creating an account or using Daizu, you accept these terms of use and our privacy policy.
If you disagree with any of these points, do not use the app.
2. Description of the service
Daizu is a mobile app that lets you:
- Create a food profile (preferences, allergies, goals).
- Automatically generate a nutrition program and personalized recipes.
- Follow your recipes in cook mode, manage your shopping list, and track your streak of days cooked.
- Access the service through a subscription taken out via the App Store (Apple) or Google Play.
3. Account creation
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you represent that you have permission from a holder of parental authority.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for all activity on your account. Tell us immediately at contact@daizu.app if you notice unauthorized use.
The information you provide must be accurate. Daizu reserves the right to suspend an account if the information is manifestly false.
4. Premium subscription
Daizu offers a Premium subscription taken out via the App Store (Apple) or Google Play.
- The price, duration, and renewal terms are shown at the time of subscription, in the language and currency of your store account.
- Renewal is automatic unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, directly in your Apple or Google account settings.
- Billing is handled entirely by Apple or Google. Daizu does not store any payment-card data.
- A free trial may be offered. If you do not cancel it before it ends, the paid subscription starts automatically.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies.
5. Automatically generated content — limits
Recipes, nutrition programs, and nutrition calculations are produced automatically. They are provided for information only and are not medical or dietetic advice.
Daizu does not replace the advice of a health professional. In case of a medical condition, pregnancy, breastfeeding, or a specific nutritional need, consult a doctor or a dietitian.
You remain responsible for checking ingredients against your allergies and restrictions. Always check labels at the time of purchase.
6. Acceptable use
By using Daizu, you agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal or fraudulent purposes.
- Try to access other users’ accounts or the servers without authorization.
- Reproduce, copy, resell, or commercially exploit the service or its content.
- Submit content that is offensive, defamatory, or infringes third-party rights.
- Bypass quotas, paywalls, or security measures.
- Use bots or any automated system to interact with the service.
7. Suspension and termination
You can delete your account at any time from Profile > Delete my account. This action is permanent.
Daizu reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service if these terms are breached, after prior formal notice when the context allows.
If access is terminated, current subscriptions stay active until they end and must be cancelled separately via Apple or Google.
8. Intellectual property
The service, its design, its code, its trademark, and its editorial content are the exclusive property of the publisher of Daizu or its partners.
Nothing in these terms grants you any right in the trademark or the source code. You receive only a personal, non-transferable right to use the service.
Automatically generated recipes may be used freely for personal purposes, but reselling them or distributing them at scale without agreement is prohibited.
9. Limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do everything we can to ensure its availability and quality, without being able to guarantee a total absence of bugs, interruptions, or inaccuracies in generated content.
To the extent permitted by law, Daizu cannot be held liable for indirect damage, loss of data, or food or health harm resulting from use that does not follow these terms or a professional’s advice.
The provisions above do not set aside the mandatory consumer rights provided by French and European law.
10. Changes to the service and the terms
Daizu may change the service, its features, and its prices. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email.
These terms may be updated. The date of the latest revision is shown at the top of this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first (contact: contact@daizu.app). Failing that, under Article L612-1 of the French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation), you may use a consumer mediator free of charge.
If no amicable resolution is reached, the competent French courts have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to the mandatory rules that apply to consumers.
12. Contact
