Tight-budget filter
Recipes under €5 a portion, basic ingredients, little specialist equipment.
Daizu builds a nutrition program suited to a student budget (recipes under €5 a portion), minimal equipment (2 burners, sometimes no oven), and limited time — without giving up nutritional balance during exam periods. The optimized shopping list avoids the classic half-empty shared-fridge waste.
A shared 4 m² kitchen, two burners at best, maybe an oven. Instagram recipes (“30 min, 12 ingredients”) are a joke when you get home at 7 p.m. after a day of classes and have an exam to study for at 10 p.m.
The budget is tight and shopping happens without a plan: you buy what looks good, half of it is forgotten, and you buy basics again the next day because nothing left goes together. A student fridge is statistically the most wasteful household in France.
During exams or internship crunches, you drop the balance and chain kebabs or buttered pasta. Guilt does the rest — without a system to restart, it lasts.
With the budget filter on, Daizu prioritizes inexpensive recipes (seasonal vegetables, legumes, affordable protein sources). The average portion falls under €5.
Generated recipes fit in 15–25 minutes with basic equipment. No exotic gear required. You can exclude oven recipes if you do not have one.
The shopping list is sorted by aisle and aggregates only the ingredients in your program. Fewer impulse buys, less waste.
You skipped a few days because of exams? Pick the program back up whenever you want — no broken streak, no guilt trip.

Short windows for a packed end of day, without dropping balance.
A list limited to the program’s dishes, sorted by aisle. Fewer duplicate buys.
You dropped a few days? Your program and profile stay ready to pick up.
Follow the recipe step by step even with hands full of carrots. No need to reread it four times.
Everything about your personalized plan.
The gap is mostly about not wasting food. A student who throws away 30% of their groceries mathematically saves €15–25 a week by planning properly. The 7-day trial via the stores lets you measure that effect before you commit.
The subscription goes through the App Store or Google Play (€11.99/month or €99.99/year). A 7-day trial may be offered: a store payment method is then generally required, and billing starts if you do not cancel before the trial ends.
Generated recipes are calibrated to the equipment you declare in your profile. If you check “2 burners only,” oven recipes will not be offered. You also will not get recipes that need a Thermomix.
